No Flags on Religious Freedom in Super Bowl

IN THE PUBLIC ARENA

Street Evangelists to Attend Pre-Game Events in DFW Metro

DALLAS, Texas, February 2, 2011 — In advance of the Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium this Sunday, Liberty Institute announces there will be no flags on religious freedom in the DFW Metroplex.

As thousands of football fans will travel to the DFW Metroplex this week, churches and religious organizations plan to deliver the Gospel to these visitors at events around the area, which is legal under city ordinances in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington. Initially there were concerns whether Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington would follow the Constitution and allow religious speech even though they were banning commercial speech and literature distribution.
